Broadreach Nature + are very excited to launch their brand new Organic Turmeric & Bioperine™ supplement for Dogs and Cats.
This great new product is a complementary feed supplement designed to promote and support Joint, Cardiovascular, Liver and Digestive Care for Dogs and Cats which contains compounds that have been shown to relieve discomfort associated with joint pain and arthritis. Turmeric is known for it’s anti-inflammatory properties. It’s active ingredient – curcumin suppresses the production of chemicals such as TNF-alpha which are thought to cause inflammation in the body. It is thought that turmeric may aid in the support of reduction in swelling and pain in pets.
Marie Saunders who was lucky enough to trial this product prior to launch has said “I have been so pleased to have trialled the Turmeric and Bioprene™ product and can thoroughly recommend it. A great overall product produced to a very high GMP standards. Veterinary strength and Manufactured in the UK.”
As a note, some of the signs of discomfort in dogs to look out for where Turmeric may be beneficial are:
- Stiffness (especially after exercise)
- Licking of joints
- Change of temperament
- Unwillingness to play or run
In addition, Turmeric is beneficial in the support of digestion. Turmeric stimulates the production of bile helping break down dietary fats in a high protein diet, without the harmful effects of many man–made substitutes. Turmeric also has positive effects on gut inflammation and gut permeability.
