The annual awards, taking place in London this September, recognise animals, individuals and teams that have shown outstanding commitment in the animal world.
This year’s categories include Hero Animal of the Year, Young Animal Hero and Conservationist of the Year and all winners will be chosen by carefully-selected judges, including TV personalities and a respected veterinarian.
Tony Raeburn, Pets Choice CEO, Webbox brand owner and esteemed member of the judging panel, said: “At Webbox we are committed to the ongoing welfare of all creatures, working alongside charities that support animals and humans through all walks of life.
“Every month we receive hundreds of letters with stories about the hard work and commitment given to animals by so many, along with the fantastic stories about the dedication that pets give back to humans and working with the Animal Hero Awards provides us with the right platform to recognise these tremendous people.
“I’m really looking forward to reading the nominations for the 2018 awards and meeting those that work so tirelessly to help the creatures we care for so deeply.”
Nominations for this year’s awards close on Sunday 15th July and Webbox is urging people to get their nominations in as soon as possible.
Winners will be invited to the star-studded event, hosted by Amanda Holden, taking place at Grosvenor House on Thursday 6th September 2018.
